Lesson & Camp Cancellation Policy – Merry-Hill Golf Club
At Merry-Hill, our cancellation policy is designed with respect for both our instructors and participants. When you register early, you reserve a valuable spot and limit availability for others. Last-minute cancellations are difficult to fill, as your booking may have prevented someone else from joining.
If you need to cancel, please do so by logging into your Setmore account or by calling the Golf Shop at 519-648-2831.
Payment Policy: Payment for lessons is due on the day of your lesson and can be completed at the Golf Shop.
Group Clinics & Private Lessons

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being counted as an attended session.

Cancellations made within 48 hours, or no-shows, will be considered as a class attended and will not be rescheduled or refunded.

If a lesson is missed due to medical reasons, please provide appropriate documentation. Every effort will be made to arrange a make-up lesson.
Inclement Weather:
- The instructor in charge will determine whether classes will be conducted on days of inclement weather. Please keep an eye on your email (and text messages).
- If a cancellation is necessary, we will notify you at least 1 hour before the scheduled start time.
- Every effort will be made to run the lesson, even in light rain, as long as it is safe to do so. Please come prepared with appropriate clothing or rain gear.
- If a lesson is cancelled, we’ll follow up with details about rescheduling or a make-up session.
- Your safety and comfort are our top priority, and we appreciate your flexibility as we monitor the weather.
- If you are unsure, please contact your instructor or the Golf Shop for assistance.
Summer Camps
Cancellations for summer camps can be completed by emailing us. Refunds are available based on the following timeline:

If you cancel on or before June 1st, you will receive a full refund with no administrative fee.

If you cancel after June 1st, and at least 3 weeks prior to the start of your scheduled camp week, you will receive a full refund minus a $25 administrative fee.

If you cancel less than 3 weeks before your camp week starts, you will receive a 50% refund. However, if we are able to fill your child’s spot, you will receive a full refund minus the $25 administrative fee.
Refunds can be placed back onto your credit card or provided as a club credit for future use.

Missed Camp Days: There are no make-up dates for missed days of camp.
Inclement Weather: Camps are held rain or shine. When possible, indoor activities may be provided during inclement weather. Please ensure your child comes prepared with appropriate clothing and rain gear.
