Positions Available at Merry-Hill for the 2021 season include:
Golf Shop Staff
Actively facilitates booking tee times in person and over the phone, provides accurate check-ins for golfers, supports back shop and bistro staff in providing exceptional customer service. Communicates effectively with Starters and Player's Assistants to ensure a smooth and enjoyable golfing experience for all guests.
Virtual Golf Bistro Staff
Prepares and serves food and beverages in our bistro for golfers and virtual golf players. Facilitates the virtual golf experience through a strong understanding of our top-of-the-line golf simulators. Supports the Golf Shop and Beverage Cart staff to provide an excellent golf experience both indoors and out. SmartServe and food handlers certificates required.
Beverage Cart Attendant
The coveted position of providing an extension of our Bistro services on the beverage cart for on course guest satisfaction. You must be outgoing, enthusiastic and eager to provide excellent customer service outside throughout the season. SmartServe certification required.
Back Shop Staff
Ensures the readiness and cleanliness of our power cart fleet, supports the Golf Shop and Bistro staff in ensuring the cleanliness of our facility and helps to provide our guests with the best golfing experience possible.
Starters play a key role in ensuring that our first tees stay on time and that guests remain safe through COVID protocols on the golf course. This is an outdoor position that requires excellent organizational skills and a passion for customer service.
Responsible for maintaining the pace of play on the golf course, encouraging golfers to ensure they receive full enjoyment of the facility and support all other departments in providing exceptional customer service.
Summer Camp Leaders
Eligible for high school volunteer hours, summer camp volunteers must demonstrate a strong sense of leadership skills. You will be responsible for supervising a group of kids throughout the week through golf stations, assisting staff with the preparation and clean up of the learning area, running games and activities, ensuring the safety of campers, and making sure everyone is having fun and learning about golf! Golf experience and knowledge are considered an asset, but not a requirement. A minimum 1-week of volunteering is required.
