PRIVATE LESSON AND GROUP CLINIC BOOKING POLICIES:
Cancellation Policy - Students may cancel their reserved golf lessons 48 hours in advance. If within 48 hours of the class, cancellations or no-shows will count as a class attended and a charge will be incurred. If there is a medical reason for canceling or missing any lesson, every effort will be made to make up the lesson, following medical documentation. You may log in to your account online, or call the golf shop at 519-648-2831 to cancel or change your lesson booking. The cancellation policy is put in place out of respect for our instructors and participants. Your early registration secures your spot and reduces the number of spaces available and marketed to the public. Last-minute cancellations are difficult to fill as your registration prevented someone else from being able to organize that time slot into their schedule.
Check-In - Golfers must check in at the Golf Shop prior to their scheduled lesson. Please provide a copy of your booking confirmation (printed or on your phone) to the Golf Shop attendant. They will provide you with a receipt for proof of payment that you are required to show to your golf instructor.
Inclement Weather -The instructor in charge will determine whether classes will be conducted on days of inclement weather. If any class is canceled, the instructor will contact students no later than 1 hour before the lesson is scheduled to begin.
Complimentary Golf Clubs - Complimentary rental clubs may be used for the duration of your lesson - please collect them in the Golf Shop upon your arrival at the golf course.
Junior Golf Clinics - Parents are welcome to stay for the duration of their child's golf lessons. You may relax in the gazebo, indoors, or at a picnic table.
Methods of payment - Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit (tap enabled), PrePaid, Gift Cards
Credit Card Policy - You are required to provide a credit card to reserve a lesson. Your card will not be charged at the time of booking. Credit card information is stored securely using an encrypted virtual vault.
Dress Code - Proper golf attire is preferred at Merry-Hill Golf Club (collared shirt, slacks/golf shorts, tee shirt, athletic shorts, etc). Sandals, flip-flops, cutoffs, metal spikes, and athletic cleats are prohibited.
Outside Alcohol - Golfers are specifically cautioned not to bring alcoholic beverages onto the golf course premises, as this is a direct violation of the AGCO license held by the club. Golfers found in possession of alcohol by means other than through Merry-Hill Golf Club Servers will not be tolerated and alcohol will be confiscated and the golfer may be subject to expulsion from the Golf Course. Merry-Hill Golf Club’s Alcohol Policy will be strictly enforced by Merry-Hill Managers, Starters, Players Assistants, Servers, and Staff. Merry-Hill Golf Club reserves the right to inspect all coolers and golf bags if deemed necessary.
Tee Times - Tee times may be booked online up to 14 days in advance or by calling 519-648-2831. - Tee Times are recommended for all golfers on all courses. - Singles, twosomes, and threesomes will be paired up at the discretion of the facility. The course reserves the right to move your tee time up to 10 minutes from its original reserved time.
